These premium industrial-grade, high performance EPDM rubber chocks are resistant to ozone and many advanced chemicals found in the aviation environment. The rubber sling cable is an easy-grab handle and these chocks are designed for long term, daily use in almost any weather condition. These premium heavy-duty 28" chocks will stay in place for all your aircrafts. The single handle is very easy to deploy and is 100% manufactured USA. Add your custom logo, brand or text to minimize shrinkage. Select from Yellow, Blue or Black to align with your company brand.
The right size depends on the plane. Small general aviation and light aircraft do fine with the compact 4 inch chocks. Bigger tires need more chock, so mid size aircraft usually take the 10 or 20 inch, and large commercial aircraft need the 24 inch. If you handle a range of aircraft, go by your largest one and keep a smaller size on hand for the light stuff.
Why do aircraft chocks come connected in pairs with a rope?
The rope keeps the two chocks together so they pull as one. You set them on both sides of the wheel, and when you are done you grab the rope and lift the pair out in one motion, no crawling under the wing. It also means a chock never gets left sitting on the ramp, and a loose chock near a running engine is exactly the kind of debris you do not want. You can go with plain rope or the brighter yellow rope with a vinyl tubing grip if you want something easier to hold.
Can aircraft chocks be bought in bulk or printed with an FBO logo?
Both work. You can buy a single pair or order them in bulk, in packs of 10, 15, and 30 pairs, all the way up to a full pallet for a fleet or an airport. Some of the models can be printed with your own artwork, so your FBO or airline logo goes right on the chock. That looks sharp on the ramp and it keeps your chocks from walking off with somebody else's crew. And if you need ballast too, the category carries aircraft ballast weights.
