What are Type A and Type C barricade lights, and where do they go?
Barricade lights are the small flashing or steady lights that mount on a barricade to make it show up after dark. The letter is the pattern the MUTCD calls for. Type A is a low intensity flashing light for marking a hazard or the end of a barricade at night, and Type C is a steady burn light for marking the edge of a lane or a run of barricades through a work zone. They bolt or clip onto most standard barricades and run on batteries, so you add one anywhere a barricade needs to be seen in low light.
What are the fence panel kits and couplers for?
They turn a line of water filled barriers into a taller, see through wall. The fence panel kits mount onto Yodock, Hydrocade, and Traffix water barriers to add height, so a low barrier becomes a real fence that keeps people out of a work zone or away from a drop. The couplers lock one barrier unit to the next so the run stays tight and straight, and the grommets and plug wrench are the small parts you need to rig the panels and to fill and drain the barriers. If you already run water barriers, this is where the pieces that go with them live.
How do I know which accessory fits my barrier?
Match the part to the barrier brand and model, since most of these are made for one system. The fence panels, couplers, grommets, and plug wrench here are built for the Yodock 2001MB, Hydrocade, and Traffix water barriers, so check that your barrier matches before you order. The barricade lights are more universal and fit most standard barricades. If you are not sure what you have, send a photo or the model number and the team will point you to the right part.
